On Saturday in Tijuana, Mexico, Erick Morales retained his WBC Super Bantamweight
Championship against top counter Remigio Molina from Argentina whose record now
stands at 30 wins and 2 losses. The fight lasted only 6 rounds, in the first round, Morales
hit him with a good punch in the face opening a cut in the eye and then started hurting
him with powerful body punching that simply tired the man from Argentina. Then in the
third round he was brought to the canvas with a good combination that Molina couldn't
resist like a man throwing himself to the ground and in that way avoiding getting himself
destroyed by the powerful punches of Morales and from the 6th round and forward just
started killing flirts the body then the head. Molina got his body chopped up by the hands
of Morales who won the fight in the 6th round after connecting with some hard right
hands to the face when the referee had to stop the fight. Morales was declared winner of
the fight by TKO. Morales raised his record to 29 wins and 0 losses.
